Here at Monterey Bay Scuba, we build divers. That means whether we’re getting you certified, or taking you out on a guided dive tour, we show you how diving happens around the world. Explorers travel from around the world to dive the Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary. Shops for hundreds of miles bring their students to San Carlos beach for their scuba training, but Monterey Bay Scuba is already here! Located on the historic Cannery Row, we offer a full service facility.
As the only full service Dive Shop and Dive Charter in Northern California, we pride ourselves on taking new and seasoned divers out to experience the underwater world of Monterey. We don’t just want to help you increase your skills in scuba, we also want to help you make memories to last a lifetime. We take customer service very seriously and will do everything in our power to make your experience the best it can be.
Not only are we located right on the water, we have our own boat! Itching to dive but not looking forward to that surface swim? Hop onto one of our guided boat tours that leave from right behind the shop! We even throw in a meal from the delicious Italian restaurant next door!

With other shops, you have to lug around sandy equipment in your car and travel between the shop and the dive
location but not here! The beach you’ll be doing your ocean dives from is just a walk across the parking lot. Get
geared up right here at the shop then walk right down to the water!
